Template Tutorial

The following is needed to use the templates:

Computer with web access and the free Adobe Reader
High quality home printer

To prepare for this tutorial please read the introduction on the template page and the support documents on the template help desk page:

Acrobat Templates Readme - An overview of the Acrobat templates.

Avery Cards Readme - Information on what Avery cards are meant to be used with which templates.

Download a template using the instructions on the template page: Option-click the download link (Mac) or "right click/save target as" (PC).

Using the "file/open" menu in the free Adobe Reader, open the template you saved to your hard drive above.

Using the "select tool" in Adobe Reader...

...change the customizable text in the template to reflect your local event.

Using the "file/print" menu in Adobe Reader, print the template on your printer. Make sure "page scaling" is set to "none". Also make sure and check your printer's advanced settings available from the "properties" button in the print dialog. For more information on these advanced printer settings see your printer manual.

Now you can break apart the Avery postcards and your invitations are ready to be used. If you have any problems please read the troubleshooting tips on the template help desk page.
