To download the files below, please option-click the download links (Mac) or "right click/save target as" (PC).
Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat or Reader. Go to "Help/About..." in your Adobe application to check the version. You can download the latest version of the free Adobe Reader here.
If your prints have offset or crooked margins, this is a problem with your printer or printer driver. You can see if an alternate or update printer driver is available from your printer manufacturer. If you decide to buy a new printer it's wise to make sure you can return it because offset margins are a very common problem and you may need to try more than one model before you're satisfied. Models and driver versions change too often for us to be able to recommend specific models but Epson, Cannon and HP all make excellent Inkjet printers, and Epson and Cannon may be more likely to have even margins. Laser printers are unlikely to have problems with margins. HP Laserjet's are a good purchase but color models are too expensive for most home users.
To save the templates, you need either the latest version of Acrobat Standard or Professional, or a PDF print driver that can be used with Adobe Reader. One such PDF driver that has so far proven to work perfectly with the templates is PDF995 available from pdf995.com. The full version is $9.95, but there is a fully functional adware version that is not too annoying, one browser ad per save.
pdf995 is only available for PC, but it may be possible to save a customized PDF in OSX using file/print/"save as PDF". Does this work with the templates? This and other free/low cost utilities for saving PDF files on a Mac need more testing. If you would like to help with this please contact us.
If you are unable to find the solution to your problem in the information above, you may request support by sending email to support@materialsresource.org. Please provide a detailed description of your problem as well as the version of Adobe Acrobat or Reader you are using.
